My husband & I are fortunate that we are healthy!(we are not rich)BUT, we have worked all our lives, & saved for our retirement..paid off our mortgage,our bills..never did we depend on the government or anyone.. for a thing! We are a society that helps many countries..we give them billions$$ ..but we seem to resent our own citizens when they need help.The GOP's want to rid the people of Soc.Sec,medicare,public schools,& many more taxes that pay for our roads,firemen,teachers &etc.If this happens,we will surely be a 3rd class world..no more middle class..just the wealthy!I have done well in American even though I have paid my share of taxes throughout my lifetime..I,for one,do not resent or regret caring for the suffering american people..we need to do this for our country to survive.It is only the "RIGHT THING" to do!
